I installed this, to realize that wifi was not working, so i tried to install another firm, but after pressing reset button, box is not recognized and tv box boots into an android screen with the belly sparkling, and nothing else is shown. Please help...

Thanks a lot for sharing this ROM, generally it looks good except there are a few things "Not working" (I purchased my TV01 CS968 from geekbuying stock ROM, then I installed this ROM)

- Much Movies HD does not work for me at all, it keeps saying "Playback failed - It says one or more items failed to play"
- How do I get subtitles for "Showbox" shows and movies?

Please advise which addons is the best for Livesport (soccer...etc.)

OK, just give an update. I just received my new CR11 with 5mp camera and a 6120 wifi chip set yesterday, flashed this rom (UPDATED CR11S-CS968 GT-Ixxx 5MP 1080p IMaxx) and installed beyond xbmc 3.3, I couldn't be happier. Rom is smooth, love the dpi 240, wifi, bluetooth etc. working as expected and the XBMC is theeee BEST, I stopped here because I don't think I can find a better rom or xbmc out there. Plus the 2 bonus: Show Box and VideoMix. The video resolution as stated is exellent (this is why this rom is special). Great job Tech1 and looking forward for your updates and new gadgets!

The 2MP and 5MP Multi-Media Super ROM has been just UPDATED, the LCD/DPI is now 240 out of the box ...!

are these updates included in the same links of the roms at the top of the page?

also sorry for the noob questions but...

does your rom include the libmedia.so you mentioned? what are the differences between your rom and the 2.0 version mentioned and linked (browsed through the link page and it stated that almost no changes , only upped to 1080p, no mention of libmedia.so or any xbmc tweak)

please help i wish to get a 1080p rom cause my device settings say 1080p-60hz but any benchmark or xbmc says 1200-680...WHICH IS THE BEST ONE TO GO WITH if i wish to play crisp smooth vids via xbmc or through android in general?

by the way...the es media player is the best player ive seen so far regarding hw handling, any way to separate it from the es package as a seperate player?

It's the only one with 1080 Ultra hi-def resolution and faster than any others. The libmedia.so is included. I disagree with you that es player is the best, with this rom the internal player is the best with full features where other players don't have, like add subtitle, set volume, change screen format like normal/zoom/full etc...

Most of people bricked their device due to flash a wrong rom. The cs968 comes in many different version, you need to pop out 4 rubber feet on the bottom, unscrew 4 screws then take a look at the main board, you need to know the board version and the wifi chip set (either ap6210 or MTK) and you have 2mp or 5mp camera. Once you obtain the info then we can help you to flash the right rom. Flashing is pretty much straight forward, if you don't understand something, do ask for advise before take the matter into your own hands. Also if you want to make a full backup of your rom (nanodroid backup) you need to flash cwm (custom recovery). CWM is highly recommended incase you messup. For the CS968, the ultra-hidef is the best rom that can run xbmc with 720/1080 without problem. Another nice movie streaming app is called "showbox", it just like Netflix but better with new and recent movie released and faster navigation. Showbox is the best for TV shows. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask...as many as you wish..we here to help and to exchange knowledge...to make the world a better place to live..lol. My kid (college girl on spring break), just put another full day (from 10am to 2am) watching TV episode (HD quality)one after another on showbox and it flawless!!

Hello, I would be a first timer in flashing ROMs..so want to make sure I do not mess up or atleast have a good understanding on how to get back in such a case.

Can someone point me to flashing CWM? Is this dependent on Kernel or ROM or the device type or just an option in the flash tool?

My CS968 has MTK Wifi modules, so Wifi will not work and I will need to use LAN. Is there a plan for supporting the MTK Wifi modules in short term?

Also, to flash this ROM which tool is recommended or does it matter? I know there are more than a couple out there.
