XBMC Backup/Restore App!

I tried this where is the file that is makes I found one in the root dir called xbmcminix zip

thats the backup file.
remember that backup of minix build will only work with minix xbmc.

I'm using beyond xbmc on a ugoos ut1 running Finless 1.6 when I go to resort it flash real quick n states done but nothing happened

I'm testing this on my MK908II, having Beyond and Minix XBMC installed. The tool backups only com.flumpster.xbmc folder in a zip file named XBMC_Minix.zip , without any prompt to choose from installed XBMC versions.

it should buckup beyond to beyond.zip and minix to minix.zip
also remember after installing xbmc to run it atleast once so the folders will create.
backup of minix cant be restored to beyond etc. only minix to minix, beyond to beyond.

Yes i know that and the hk.minix.xbmc and com.flumpster.xbmc folders are in Android/data folder, and tool backups as i described. If i rename Beyond folder to com.flumpster.xbmc.bak only then it backups minix folder.

It's a good report mate. I'd imagine a lot of people have more than 1 installed. I have 5 lol

Me too. I have an mk808 with finless 2.1 and beyond xbmc. Doing a restore displays a message but does not restore files.

did not work for me

I installed the APK - ran it - got up the GUI pressed on Backup XBMC - it instantly came up with XBMC Backup/Restore - done - press back button.

I have beyond installed to default data/data/com.flumpster.xbmc

Maybe I am missing something?

i had the same issue with beyond xbmc ? it backs it up as minix
i got around it by renaming the zip file to XBMC-beyond

its a really great apk, if you can fix the beyond xbmc issue that would be really appreciated

Usually I just copy back the data folder, fast 1 click job on dual pane file managers, from sd-card where I backup regularly. Will test this on several xbmc apps I have running together.

Thank you for the great app, it does save alot of time to backing up, btw it doesn't seem to work with the new Kodi Helix, could you have it work with the new Kodi Helix too ? greatly appreciated.
