If I really wanted to tease you I think I could get a KK build working too! But without a test device it would take way to many test uploadsMeasy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!

19955 with some app running in the background. Excellent, just as cs918s.
I'm so sorry for your stick, mate
EDIT did you try to revive it? Maybe there is something to do with shortening processor pins to reset cache the way they did with rk chips. It does not seem that you could grill it while booting up. So it's worth to try. Just look how they did it in rk3066 forum.
As for KK, let's hope they'd come up with KK for cs918s. Then we know what to doLast edited by ADD; 19 February 2014, 01:36.

Just read your exchange with lolet on xda. Sweet that he offered his tool.
Agree very good of Lolet to share. When people share the ripple benefits many especially when the ripple turns into a wave with the additional contributions of others

There's a problem with lolet's tool and I can't find the right byte to patch manually. If he responds on xda I'll do 1080

Steps to upgrade Measy U4K
Originally posted by Marginal View PostHello people.
When I try to upgrade using the "short pins" method nothing happens.
My U4K boots normally.
Any suggestions?
Regards.
1. Power off the Measy U4K
2. Put the fw on sdcard or load fw with PhoenyxSuit;
3. Short the pins and power on through computer USB where Phoenixsuit is installed.
4. Release the pins.
5. The update will start automatically.
I hope you understand.
Please tell me how much memory report your Measy U4K?

Regarding the use of the 8Gb NAND. The firmware we are using is from a 16Gb device which may have something to do with it?
The partition table used is:

Reading that:
Apparently the sizes are in sectors and a sector = 512 Bytes
mmcblk0p2/nanda = 16K
mmcblk0p5/nandb = 16k
mmcblk0p6/nandc = 16k
mmcblk0p7/nandd = 0.75 GB (/System)
mmcblk0p8/nande = 2 Gb (/data)
mmcblk0p9/nandf = 16k
mmcblk0p10/nandg = 32k (recovery)
mmcblk0p11/nandh = 0.5Gb (/cache)
nandi = 16k
nandj = 128 Kb
nandk = the rest (should be ~4.5Gb for 8Gb device) (/sdcard)
Suggest you print the sizes you have using df -sLast edited by d33; 22 February 2014, 12:34.Measy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!
