I just modified the 3 PNG files but it didn't load them at boot. There is something else I'm missing. Maybe Shaun knows how to change these.

I tried for 3 hours trying to make this work. The nothing works. Is there an Mb limit of bootanimation.zip?

That's where Shaun sent me and those are the things I tried for 3 hours. I will mess with it again tomorrow

I had to give up on my Ubuntu machine and switch over to Windows and winrar. Did something in about 30 seconds and shoved it onto my tab. Worked beautifully.
Not spectacular or anything but a good first step.

Not sure just yet. I know I got rid of the three animations and used one. I strongly suspect that it can't handle over 500kb. I was at 1.8mb before

Something in my tab is forcing it to sit down after about five minutes of idle time. Does anyone have any idea where to start looking to change this?
