The mk902 is an easy mod for cooling simply mount a case fan underside i am running 1080p and getting scored at 18600 with no fan and its running cool, mod box is at 1.8 and getting scores in 19000-20000, once i get the heat sinks on the ram chips then it will be oc more but it is stable now at 1.8 with just the case fan mounted underside. and playing beyond xbmc flawlessly so for 99 bucks all good

Ah I now see some reasoning with why you choose value on a budget basis,I train voluntary 1 day a week at a computer repair shop,done it 3 years now,I'm more the help but continue to be taught still on many days lol.I told them to stock some android tablets, which they have done for a while now.But you get people ask for dual core when we only have a single core in at the time and i'm sure others will in time also be asking specs,people appear to understand specs better now days, well to the extent of dual core vs single core.So more cores the better i'd say,also i'd not buy anything with a usb form factor selling them,you run a risk they won't last due to overheating and the customers are in all likelyhood not going to like the idea of voiding warranty to do any kind of cooling mod, or even the idea of cooling it would be questioned i should imagine,as they will be probably be concerned about it's reliability then.Best getting something like the k-r42 or a similar box style unit for peace of mind and customer satisfaction and longevity.

If not I get my console returned to GAME and refunded that's certain, and then i will simply wait for a new decent box with a good solid capable os, by that i mean open os kitkat 4.4.So currently I'm holding my breath right now as to weather i even recieve that call,as I have my doubts.I shall lambase them telling everyone like which? magazine etc what the customer experience and product is like to warn others if I get fobbed off though,that's for damn fire sure.I don't let people selling me 180 quids worth of pure sh@t get away with that obviously,but i may be wrong it may have 1080p native and there's a physicality issue somewhere but i did do a diagnostic test on the tv and research it,it came up all clear hardware wise on the tv,so that's looking very very unlikely at this stage i just can't help but "think it's native 720p output until the kitkat update arrives?",which mad catz accidentaly would have forgoten to tell everyone but then again obviously not lol.That's if i am right but i may well be wrong who knows as i said before mad catz don't know them selves by the look of it lol?

Infact the funniest thing and most ironic thing, was that when calling them they had to take my number because they were having so many complaints as it said the volume of calls was higher than usual,they said they would call back,but gave no indications of date or time.I called them again as i'd recieved a new contract sim card just after that call,which was having the number transferred via pac code in order to give them the new number,that's when the support lady assured me they will call back tomorrow.But as i said i do have my doubts about that statement.

Ya i had high-expectations for the mojo to and like every other manufacture rushed to produce with no firmware to match the statements made, have the fastest motor in the world and drop it into a pinto is same affect, not saying the chipset isnt fast said nothing made tv box wise that runs right and as fast as claimed.

we set up on big screen tv my year old neo 5 and mojo no one could tell difference between mojo and my year old neo5 in xbmc gaming yes as neo lacking there but, a lot of hard core gamers around here and they played with mojo for little time before they got bored with it so its seriously lacking as serious gaming device. maybe i can turn the rest of the stock into rentals???

I do agree it's a quickly thrown out thing,it is beautifull and it is turbo quick,it has lush graphics and some better gaming power leaps and bounds ahead of the competition,but as you said software is not really made to suit yet.

Maybe yeah a rental showcasing tegra abilities could push people to preorder if you wait for a good kitkat model tell them it's just a demo model.

What's poppin' freakniks?

I'm still sporting a Tronsmart T428 velcroed to the back of my bedside TV. I use it mostly for TV. I read that the Roku 2 or 3 are the best TV players you can get but they don't appear to let you install the various TV Network apps that are available for Apple and Android devices. For that reason, I think an Android TV stick might still be a better answer. I see that there's a bunch of new stuff out now, like the Tronsmart Draco AW80 Meta Allwinner A80 Octa Core Android 4.4 Mini TV Box

this sounds cool but past experience tells me that off-the-beaten-path hardware may not have good firmware support. It was something like 3 years before good stable firmware was available for the T428. The best support is for popular Smartphones but most smartphones don't have HDMI out anymore and wireless screencasting is too laggy for gaming and you've also got extra energy consumption for the wireless receiving device.

Looks like I should probably stay with my T428 for a while longer.

I really like the mxiii boxes. Tronsmart mxiii plus for $60 is amazing deal imo
