Will this PSU do the job

Thanks to kmac21 for pointing me in the direction for one of these.

Will this provide the power I need?

        Thanks

Probably would go with this, would have to pass standards so wouldn't be garbage unlike half the rubbish you would find online.

You need to stop being cheap and just get one from maplin or somewhere, what's the point in searching online for probably a fake one and having constant crashes/reboots after you wait over a week to get it?

            second hand store

I know I said this in a earlier post but I am going to repeat it again. I know you guys are in GB. But, I presume you have second hand stores over there too. I have no idea what you would call them over there? Im talking about a place that would sell used electronics.
Most of these places are going to have a box that they throw adapters and power supplys in to that they cant match up to something in the store.
Find the store. Find the box. Look for a 5v 3a adapter. See if you can find one with a good brand name on it. Case in point. I found a dlink adapter 5v 3a with a barrel on it. Cut and splice to usb cable. Done. Cost me two dollars us. Its simple. There are youtube vids to show you how. Its only 5 volts. Your not gona kill yourself..lol

yes re porta power plus it has two usb connections, i use one for an 802iiis with a powered hub with no problems.
This is the one I use
                http://www.****.co.uk/itm/Dual-Micro...#ht_1127wt_958

this is the hub although not neccessarily from this seller, you don't need the inc power supply if using above but will probably need a longer usb printer cable than the one inc if your hub is any distance away from your dongle. Same goes for the micro usb cable. I have also got porta power connected to a wireless remote controlled plug to make easier to switch on and off whole system, similar to link two.

also need a usb to barrel cable to replace hub power supply
