    cpu

    Hi all,

I have flashed this rom onto my mk808b, everything seem to be working, expect i noticed this

"Ondemand governor default for CPU and set to 1.4Ghz(can increase to 1.6Ghz)"
the program frills cpu on mine is set on 1.4ghz but from th history graph it does not go more than 1ghz.

Did I do something wrong? or that is the limitation?

That's normal. The history graph is wrong due to some kernel bug.

Could someone upload a CWM Backup of a fresh setup of this rom please?

Won't work, as this rom also includes userdata with custom settings.

I'm working on a KitKat rom, just hope it turns out correctly with everything working.

            Great news mo,

Since KitKat has immersion mode, will status bar be hidden automatically when XBMC is running?

              Yes, status bar auto hides.
              It actually runs pretty fast.
The only thing taking time is getting the wifi to work, but someone is helping me. Just hope to get that working.

Yes, it's the complete rom backup.
Might take a while to flash.
I think SPMC is more updated at the moment, but both SPMC and Beyond only work on JB roms.
The nightly version works on KitKat roms.

Thanks for the quick reply, just what i wanted to hear.

One last question for now, if someone has tested Popcorn time with this rom i would like to hear his/her opinion.

                        Thanks mo123 for your work!

Popcorntime should work fine, just make sure you install the new v2.0.

I also made a new KitKat rom, but no luck with getting wifi working.
MiniX Neo X5 uses the same wifi, and the KitKat rom for their device has working wifi.

                            Xbmc intermittent sound loss

                            Hi Mo

The rom is excellent although I have one small problem
When playing videos in both SPMC and Beyond XBMC I experience sound loss for a second or two this occurs at various time's throughout playback of a movie. I Installed the rom with Shomaris 1080P O/C kernel. Can you help?

Make sure you are using the latest SPMC.
Also 1080p kernels tend to be a bit slow for this old device.
High bitrate movies will struggle, 720p movies on a 720p kernel shouldn't give any problems.
Might work better with a KitKat ROM, but I'm still working on that.

Thanks Mo for replying I will switch to the existing kernel supplied with the rom. Looks like 1080P looks out of reach, could be a new stick christmas present off the missus
