Hi guys, i have installed this rom but for some reason youtube app plays no video, while i see the controls (play/pause etc) ans sound. But no video. Anyone have any ideas what is wrong?

I have flashed 720p kernel and that is setup as resolution as well

Change sys.hwc.compose_policy=0 to =6 in build.prop file, /system/build.prop
with ES File Manager, set Root Explorer on.

Just did that, but no change

Edit: after a reboot it is fine! It works! thank you very much!!

nice there. I didn't find a kitkat for mk808b (903) even no standard rom for that device.
do you know whether it's available ? if so, where can i get it?

I have a KitKat ROM for MK808(RK901 wifi) and one for MK808B(RK903 wifi doesn't work, bluetooth does work). Still trying to make MK808B wifi work, very close, got the system to recognise and load the wifi driver but it's still not powering on. Will do more tests later the week. Will upload the MK808 KitKat one and if I get the MK808B's wifi working also to my site.

Don't think Rockchip hardware supports aptx.
You can still use normal bluetooth earphones/speakers though.

The MK808(RK901) one works.
Just want to add some more apps, tweak it and improve it.
Then I have to backup and upload it.
After it's completely finished, will take 6-10 hrs to upload, can only do when I'm not using the PC at night.
Will have latest XBMC with excellent video playback for Rockchip devices.
Inbetween I also have to test RK903 wifi which takes a lot of time, so maybe in 2-3 days all will be finished.

KitKat starts up a lot faster on MK808B(dual-core) than on my Quad-Core Box for some reason.
Any features in particular you want included in the ROM?

Well the main use for me will be for the xbmc.
For many people this isn't the most important, but i ask you.
It is possible to make the rom or a copy of the rom cleanest possible? Removing the apps and only maintain the ones that its impossible to remove for the rom to work??? but tweak it and improve it.

Yes, will make a basic version with very few apps.

By the way, the rom haves support for Ethernet?
