MK808B 4.2.2 GPU 600mhz Overclocked Kernel

I get GoogleTV screen then black screen with both DDR and GPU/DDR kernels with my U2-808B 408j firmwire....using a PSU 5.0V 3.0Amp...you guys must be using a hell of a PSU to get this baby going...then again...the U2 is finicky with voltage changes...

I ordered 6A PSU so I'll test the kernels when I get my order.

If these kernels put too much demand on psu's let me know and I might upload a kernel that's less agggressively overclocked too.

yeah...would appreciate an overclocked gpu/ddr kernel that is less demanding on the PSU..I know it not easy to find that balance and appreciate your efforts....

6A! ... wow. I have a 3.5a and I thought that was a lot of juice for these tiny things.

Anybody else been able to run them? I know from pm's I'm not the only one who has had them work but what about everyone else on the thread? I'll be keeping an eye on the thread for any reports.

...mine hasn't gotten hot compared to stock at all. The voltages are different and I don't game with it.

Besides, I don't think it will run to that level of heat before freezing or rebooting ... too demanding.

PWR+ 3.5a PSU ($9) works like a charm for GPU @ 400 / DDR 648. Epic Citadel at 59.6 antutu 14900-15200. That seems about the peak... higher OC's are just unstable for me.

WOW! 60 in Epic Citadel is amazing, I think I get like 42. I might just order some things and tinker Need to find a decent case for this and a large HS, and obviously a 3.5+a psu.

After various tests:
Quartz tried with a pc power supply 5v (23A), but the result is not changed (same as with 5V 2A) MK808B RK903 with Heatskin and fan cooler.


CPU Linpack test (and similar) equal to 1.4 Ghz Cortex A9 others to 1.4 ghz (samsung S3)
1.6 Ghz CPU test> then the cpu for AnTuTu scores / Linpack / Quadrant and many other benchmark app is really at 1.6 Ghz.


DDR Overclocking works, real gains in fluency and scores (remember that it is a ddr3)


GPU ....... unfortunately not, in all tests compared with other devices and MALI400MP4 A9 dual core 1.4 / 1.6 show that our GPU is stuck at 240MHz as you do not get more than 2300 points in 3D benchmark, while at 400Mhz or higher you should get above 3000 and up.

I read your post several times but couldn't get what you were trying to say. Do you say that DDR is the only thing that actually gets overclocked ? And, GPU overclocking isn't really working ?
Did I understand you correctly ?
