    I believe the meta mode is the one we want.
    Maybe you can drop by this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1982334 and ask for better advice. It's for the smart tab 2 but the procedure shouldn't be to different.

    $user.up.post.ignore_in_future = true; fi;

      I got Framaroot to work!!

      Turns out I had downloaded an old version and then newest one worked. I'll try dumpmstock now and come back to you

        Ok, looks like I'm finally getting there.

        If anyone is looking to follow suit, here's what I did:

        1. Use latest version of Framaroot to achieve partial root.
        2. Use MTKDroid Tools to complete root.
        3. To create CWM recovery (non exists for this device) use steps in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...38085320033133

        So I now have ROOT and custom recovery installed. I am currently trying to follow the previously posted steps to dump stock rom. If anyone's wondering the mode to put the device in for SP Flash tool, neither recovery nor META MODE worked for me. I've just discovered that leaving the device powered OFF actually appears to be a preloader mode for this.

        Also, the Lenovo model name is the S6000-H.

        That's all the info I've retrieved so far.

        @abdul_pt, I will try to upload the dumped ROM tomorrow, assuming this process works. Thanks for all your help.

          Nice info. Glad you got it going
          With root you can backup with MTK Droid tools, no need to use SPFT.

            Hi gents, I'm new here.
            I've got this tablet bricked... and I'd need the stock rom in order to flash it via SPFT.
            Was you able to dump the ROM?

            Many thanks
