Thanks.
If you can link me to an MTK wifi wirking kitkat, i can do it!
Thanks for great job! My Box have AP6210 Wifi (CS board version 4.0).Naturally Wi-Fi not work. Are you have kernel with AP6210 support with OC CPU, GPU and RAM?
Does your CS968 have the name HTC_T018 20131216 V4 printed on the board inside? Do you see any sudden screen blackouts after all is working?
I am struggling with this issue and is not solved with any ROM I have tried.
Yes it is - CS968 HTC_T018 20131216 V4 main pcb
No , I'm not see any sudden screen blackouts. May be this is a hardware problem in VPU , not a firmware problem. Try to change power supply.
I tried your rom but wasn't able to end the boot phase. At first, it keept on showing 4 penguins and rebooted, starting all over again. Then I pressed the reset button for about 5 seconds and it showed breefly the 4 penguins, then the android robot for about 1 minute and reboot, starting all over again.
I think it's related to my tv box as I flashed the stock firmware and the same happened. Could you build a version of your rom with usb debug enabled by default so that I could use adb logcat to see what's going on ? You can PM the link.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT:
dracosc22679, no need to create a new build with usb debug. I managed to boot the tv box. I don't know why but it only boots if I connect it with a PC (or other source of powered usb) in the OTG port. Does anyone know why ?
Which combination of ROM and kernel are you using? and what HDMI setting are you using e.g. 1080p @50 Hz?
Whats the number (one below 94V-0ML1) on your board? I think its the serial #.
Yes I definately don't have that problem. I am using the rom from this thread - PM dracosc22679 if you don't have it. No other kernels or anything.
I have the same number on my board
I have used it at 1080p 60 and 50 and 720p 60 and 50 and not seen any problems yet.
My board has the mediatek chipset.
I would reblow the rom and try another HDMI cable if you haven't done already
in the lines down under is a link to an official kitkat 4.4.2 Rom for the boxes with Mtk chipset.
That gives >dracosc22679< the possibility to cook the next good rom for us...
The first start of the rom took a while but then bluetooth and wifi was working.
Hope that info was helpfull
