I want to download XCOM from the google play store (Which I have paid for), but it doesn't show up in the Google Play store
- On my HTC One (M7) I can download it
- I tried modifying the build.prop to an LG Nexus 5 or an HTC Nexus 9
- I tried MarketHelper
Nothing worked.
Do you know any other methods to enable this app in the Google Play Store?

I have flashed 1080p boot and kernel image
Antutu device info also shows resolution 1080p
But video quality on YouTube app on this ROM is limited to 720p.
Dailymotion app can play 1080p videos.
i tried simple build.prop tweaks below taking hints from other forums but no luck
1> ro.build changed to 4.4.2 from 4.2.2
2> ro.sf.lcd_density changed to 160
3> "Allow Fullscreen Youtube with HDMI" Xposed module also didnt work. http://repo.xposed.info/module/uk.co...fullscreenhdmi
4> "YourTube" Xposed module also didnt work.
Has anyone managed to play 1080p videos on YouTube?

I had used 1.8 for a while and only at a 480P res. The 1080P would cut out. So I upgraded to 2.0 and I am seeing visual artifacts in Hulu or and video streaming. I have tried to return to 1.8 but seem unable to achieve that. Any thoughts about the visual artifacts or returning to 1.8. I have the Tronsmart MK908 2/8 gig.

Bootloop in recovery
I've flashed the 1.8 Finless ROM. All was good, Erase IDB, flashing...
But when I plug back the MK908 to the TV it's boot in recovery mode. In recovery mode I made all I can (WIPE DATA/PARTITION, reboot system...) But after all it's still boot in Recovery.
I tried to flash other KERNEL or get back to old FINLESS ROM but it's always the same Recovery BOOT.
What can I do???

Then I need to decide if I absolutely have to have 1080p output or can live with 720p, and choose other parameters to determine which ROM I want to flash.
I'm running this Finless 1.8 on 3 of these distributed around the house, 1 Tronsmart branded, 2 unbranded. 2 with v3 board, 1 with v5 board. Streams everything off my NAS, does XBMC great (haven't tried SPMC yet), all the standard streaming apps (Netflix, Comedy Central, Hulu), etc.
The only thing it doesn't do for me is stream my HD channels off the HDHomeRun Prime using the View app. :-( It won't use the HW decoding for MPEG2, apparently for licensing issues or something like that. I hear the RK3288 chip devices will, and perhaps the AMLogic 802 will. Don't know about the AllWinner A80 (one of Bob's picks) but still waiting to see the future of that device. I am using a 1G ethernet connector (of course slowed to USB2 speeds but that's plenty fast enough). It's the software decompression that's the issue. Been happy with these, while I'm figuring out where to go from here to accommodate all that and the HDHomeRun View app my only not-working piece to my puzzle.
Good luck.

Ok, as usual I got away from this for months and now need to clarify I know what the heck I'm doing before I destroy the poor stick.
My stick on the board says "MK908 V3.0 2013.05.13" and I would like desperately to use it as a media player without all the flickering. So I want to use MK908_4.2.2_Finless_1.8.zip. Did I miss anything?

a bit of helpt
First - many thanks to Finless for his effort.
I am comming from finless 1.6 and it s a great improvement - wifi better and stability but I encounter 2 problems 0 maybe somebody help:
1. Youtube , Viral and other apps for video playing skips (jumps seconds forward or back) - any solution to this?
2. I cannot play playlists in youtube and viral. It plays the first tune but the next one keeps loading (the circle...). What I observed is that if I am not logged with the google user on viral, playlists will work. As soon as I log in, it will stop playing - to me it looks like an "ad blocker" tipe of problem but I didn't found anything related. With the same google account youtube plays playlists well on the smartphone or computer so I am very sure that is not a youtube config problem.
Any ideeas?
P.S. In 1.6 it played playlists without any problem. It skipped from time to time tough.
Thanks in advance
