Flashed onto a Ugoos UT2 8GB RK3188 box.

The rom is excellent! Was watching Lord of the Rings for the pass 2 hours and the video quality is silky smooth over WiFI network with no buffering issues.

Will continue testing, thank you Wasser for a clean and fast rom.

And can you give a noob a quick run down on how to flash this. Is there a reset on this unit?

I used this guide by DAMO to flash mine.The reset button is a tiny hole on the bottom of the unit.Hold the reset button then plug in with the usb miny cable,the lite in the RKBATCH TOOL should turn green.

ugoos ut2 with firmware wasser

Hi folks,

I succesfully flashed mu ugoos ut2 with high hopes regarding 1080p viewing.
Now, i am able to watch mkv with 1080p but, it's still choppy and buffering (endlessly,especially the big 28 gb files). Im getting desperate here, my question is this:
Can i tweak settings to make it possible to view 1080p without lagging etc.?

I tried different tweaks within beyond xbmc 3.4 and gotham beta 3 but all without improvement.

Any ideas would be great!

flashed this myself.
my gamepad wont connect via bluetooth since so may go back.
four coloured buttons function is changed, apart from mouse mode i used the the green button to drop the menu bar which is now stock google browser which i dont use.
mouse mode once deactivated now leaves the curser on the screen for a few seconds delay. not a major issue.
people contacts, messaging and phone dialer apps etc are useless not sure why you left them in.
still fiddling around with it.
only benifot i can make is its rooted. in my opinion.
