    Hi,

I can't get the tool to show green status because of a driver that won't install somehow
Running the latest Windows 8 x64

Are you guys flasing on a Win7 32bit machine? I'll try that later tonight

    Thanks.
And thank you wasser for releasing this hopefully much better rom

      I'm on 64bit win 7, worked fine
Install moborobo android manager for PC it should install drivers for you.
Also try keeping the reset button pressed while powered off and unplugged then connect to the PC/laptop. I just fiddle around till it works

I tried robomobo, but still get Unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed)
        Debug mode driver worked though

Must be Win8 I think.. will be trying my old htpc tonight

        Edit:
Flashed on a Win7 machine now and it's booting
Screen quality is much better, no more upscaled 720p as it was on stock rom. Fixed overscan scale perfectly as well.
5Ghz wifi runs very nice, I get 12-13MB/s
Installed Beyond XBMC to see how movies perform. Tested new GoT episode so far and it runs very smooth. I know it's not heavy to decode that one.. will test a big movie tomorrow when I have audio connected on optical. Even the buttons are not off anymore when the taskbar was hidden, wich is great
Maybe I'll try the normal xbmc release as well.

Many thanks again wasser, it's not a useless box anymore lol

                  Hi,

I want to flash this firmware unto my Ugoos UT2.
However, when I boot into the recovery mode, connect it to my PC, and I want to manually install the drivers for the device (in the RKBatchTool drivers folder) it says that the drivers are not found.

When I start the device normally (no recovery mode) and I connect it normally, the RKBatchTool displays a purple color (which is propably not good, as it is not green).

How can I install the drivers for my Ugoos UT2 while in recovery mode, so I can flash this firmware?

                  I'm on a Home Premium 64-bit Windows 7.

So it is detecting ...youre driver is installed .
Plug power in , plug usb in t hen it will be purple.
Then pres with an paperclip in the recovery hole and turn the box on.
Then it wil l turn green

                        You Da Man!

Wasser - My Ut2 came with the stock firmware and beyond XBMC preloaded. It was unstable and would shutdown from on it's own from time to time. I flashed with your FW and loaded beyond XBMC and it ran better but BXBMC was still flakey. I ended up putting XBMC Gotham Beta 4 and the thing is solid as a rock running HD with no problem.

The only issue I have is that everytime I reboot I have to go and reselect my sound device. It always defaults to my mele pro remote for sound for some reason instead of the onboard chipset through the HDMI. Is there anyway to fix this?

                        Thanks for what you do!

I found the beyond xbmc 2 worked without the odd shut down try that.

I see the latest arm v7 (05-05-14) Gotham release doing this. Click the icon, Gotham starts but stops booting or crashes before it gets to the Gotham home screen and you end up back at the apps. Clcik again and it starts. Wonder what it is....
                            FLHT = Harley
HEMI = 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT
                            Cause I've been asked.

I think I found the problem, I added a custom splash.png and the 1st boot with it installed might be what it was as it hasnt happened again.
