Does it look like this? If so I returned mine as I could not get it fixed. Other models do not have this issue.

Apologies for the flash, it was hard to get a pic it went away after a second or two of movement. There were blocks of black over video too. Return it and try something else.

Sent from my mobile device. Please excuse any typos.

Yeah that's part of what I had too, I couldn't ever get it to stop. Ended up switching to a a928 and now a Amlogic s802 device.

                  Hi,
Your screen artefacts can be caused by shortage of power from your stock power supply adapter.
Firmware(with kernel included) from first page has lower power consumption due to the lower CPU/GPU/DDR speed adjustment.
d33's kernels require a little bit more power because they have higher clocks.
Just try to use another PS(at least 5V/3A) and I can bet your artefacts go away(my bet is 75% against somebody's 25%).

I thought about adapter (i have a stock adapter China), but did not believe it.
One of these days I'll buy a new adapter and write about results!
                    Thanks for help! =)

Forgive my noobness but is it true the RK3188T can now be unlocked? I have an MK908 v5 but seems to be locked at 1.4. I would like to have it overclocked to 1.6 if possible but not sure which kernal to install. I'm currently on finless 1.8.

                      Thanks

A lot of people here and me too have this crappy T chips inside.
Thanks to d33's kernels and KitKat you can be much more happy with your device.
If you are really interested, try to spend your definite time for reading this whole thread and in addition these two

I hope you'll find good alternative.
I have my T-based box(not of your model stick, it doesn't matter) runing 1080p cpu1704/gpu798/ddr800 and it plays all kind and sizes of movies great.

Thanks mate for the advice, I have to admit I broke the cardinal rule and didn't read this entire thread through but I skim it and saw D33 post link's in a few of his posts on here but wasn't sure if they fit my particular Android stick and didn't want to brick or something :P
I originally bought my stick for Movies/Emulation and while I'm happy with the Movie part I'm finding Emulators like Retroarch run quite sluggish on my stick.

Btw are you using any added cooling mods with your current setup? I dont want to go overboard with the overclocking settings, just enough to get Retroarch running as it should

                          Thanks again.

You won't need cooling mods unless you're doing some extreme overclock

What would you say is the non cooling mod limit? like I said I dont want to go ott just enough to get Retroarch Running fluidly

Also I downloaded your "AP6210 (fixed)" Kernal from here:

would it just be a matter of replacing my current Kernal with your one? I'm currently on finless 1.8 which isnt KK if I remember right

                              Thanks.

You would need to flash the t428 finless ROM then flash your kernel. I would say 1.6 to 1.7 is safe just don't use performance governor.
