    Which CX919II ? New type ?

I've received my CX919II today. It's one of the orange versions with the 2 antenna's. I've read some more on this board and couldn't find my board it seems so i'm a bit unsure which firmware to flash. After opening the case it is an RK3188T and i found the following text on the board:

    CYX_809III_RK3188
    V2_1 20140208

Here are 2 pics of the pcb:

    and

(Full size here: https://db.tt/tTKn8ZOa and https://db.tt/zYjpnUHH)

Anybody an idea which stick this is exactly? Which firmware can i flash without bricking this stick ?

    hi,

Same hardware, I advise you to do not flash for the moment if you do not want to lose WIFI and BT

If you have stock firmware or find a compatible firmware, i'm interrested

I was playing around with this stick yesterday and dumped everything on it. So yes, i've got a complete dump of the stock firmware. Could that be of any use ?

My seller can not provide it to me so I would be indeed very interested in this dump if you can make it available !!!!

I'm sure it will also serve the community in the near future until a functional custom rom

No probs. I will upload it to my dropbox this weekend and share it with you/others. Or I can upload it here if possible. I just have to check if the dump i made don't contain my Google-account data :-)

I just followed this excellent guide http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ew-RK-2-1-tool

I'm just uploading the most important dumps without the userdata.img & user.img because that last one alone is almost 8GB. What i can upload is:
          parameter.txt
          backup.img
          boot.img
          cache.img
          kernel.img
          kpanic.img
          misc.img
          recovery.img
          system.img

          Will this work ?

I'm a noob in flash rom, I have my dongle since 1 Week.

I do not have enough knowledge to confirm that it will work.
            I would do the test.

Typically i found in flash tools the following files:

            parameter
            misc.img
            kernel.img
            boot.img
            recovery.img
            system.img

And a bootloader for a kitkat rom example

            RK3188Loader (L) _V2.13.bin

Someone can confirm it will work or if it's possible to mix files (this dump kernel with an other rom and bootloader ??)

                kernel.img
                boot.img

Tx for your help, but i think that i can't solve this by myself.

I want to try to root and insert wifi module but i don't know if i'm on the good path and i'm lacking of time to watch this.

If someone can upload somewhere (dropbox, googledrive, mega ...) a complete backup firmware for this hardware ???

                        for example :

                        parameter
                        misc.img
                        kernel.img
                        boot.img
                        recovery.img
                        system.img

I'll try again an other day ...
