I really don't know what to tell you ... I have it set up on one of boxes only .... On my other box, I still have the current ROM build ... If you want slightly better resolution quality, then yes, go for it ...

Best ROM Build For Streaming Video

IMOP, I believe this ROM build is the best, that I have every put together for the CR11S/CS968 AP6210, but very few people are downloading it .... Don't go to sleep on this ROM build, don't let it get by you ...

What I love most about this ROM build, it streams SD video very clear and it's fast too ... You can imagine how it streams HD video, truly smooth as silk, crystal clear video resolution quality ...

Downloaded twice. File is corrupt!!!!

EDIT: I take that back, the file isn't corrupt, the name is to long. I shortened the name, and it unzipped fine!

I just wanted to be sure, so I downloaded my ROM builds and I encountered NO Problems unzipping my ROM builds ... I now believe the zip extraction tool, you were using is what was corrupt ...!

As I said, the file was not corrupt, the name was to long. After I shortened it, it unzipped fine. I use WinRar.
Thanks for the help? I've tried everything to get this box to pass through. Far to many hoops to jump through, and still doesn't work. Going back to my MX box. Works great with a linux stand alone XBMC!

Why this ROM build works perfect on my boxes, but it doesn't work perfect on your box, something is wrong here ...!

Why I don't have to jump through hoops, but you do, come on man ... I got a ideal what's going down, then we want to blame it on something ... See, I deal with cause and effect ...!

What TV box are you using and what do you mean by pass through ...?

I have a Amlogic Cortex A9 MX box that is running MX Linux XBMC that runs everything I throw at it. It passes through DTS, and Dolby Digital through HDMI to my DD/DTS receiver without any problems what so ever! I just picked up this CS968 because of the specs, but have had absolutley no success in getting this unit to do the same with any combination of ROMS and XBMC that are available.

I play my films from a HDD plugged into my router by way of SMB. This is my main objective! From what I have read, even if I could get the CS968 to pass through DTS/DD, it would have to be by way of using MX player, which doesn't work with SMB, only UPNP, which means no scaper info!

If you have the answers, I'm more than happy to hear them! I would love for this box to work the way I want it to.

In my opinion, development for this box leaves something to be desired!

See I told you so, I knew it, dts/dd works perfect with ALL my ROM builds ... I have no problems with the MXPlayer or Plex with dts/dd ... Never ever had any problems with pass through dts/dd ... True, it will not work with SMB only UPnP, because of the http:// protocol ... Since you were not up front with me, I believe you can figure it all out to work like a charm and believe me it does work like a charm, take care guy ...
