That's a known problem and probably the only point which keeps this Rom in beta status. Kamera itself works, but apps using the Kamera like pdf scanner, barcodescanner or the pagecamera you mentioned don't work.

You need to switch to front camera and then back, and camera working again

Not for me.. pdf scanner is not working at all n o matter which Kamera you use.. there must be a problem in communication with the implementation of this feature

I just realized that I cannot find the option to turn to the front camera anymore 😞 also switching to the movie camera will crash the cam-app. Using the camera to make snapshots of worksheets in evernote is extremely important for me and I'm not really able to do that anymore. I guess I have to go back to JB with RR 2.7 I guess?
Or is there any chance of a fix soon?

As long as no one knows, where the problem exactly is located, probably not i guess.... but i really would like to have this issue solved

But if you want to downgrade to jb you have to take version 2.4 as it is the last jb edition.... But remember flashing the fitting loader to the Rom otherwise you'll brick your device

Is anyone having issues with audio using Headphones jack? Mine is very poor quality compared to speakers and HDMI. On RR2.7 i think i did not had this "issue".

Are you using the pipo headphones? With those it work fine for me but I get really poor quality with my scull candy headphones.

That might be the problem. Try some different headphones. Some work better then others for me.

I had it once, that the phonheadphone was pushed to deep into the jack. After playing around a little out went better

It became quiet here.... question to Randy: did i get it right that the Rom 2.8 and 2.8.1 are ported roms from pipo m9 and 2.7 is made from a m7 rom?

Been a while since we had updates from pipo..maybe they have reached the 'climax' with the last m7 firmware? To be honest am very happy with RR 2.7. Any notable differences between 2.7 and 2.8/2.8.1? Maybe pipo will not release further firmware as these are essentially bug-free now..
