It is my understanding that the short should not be permanent; when the CPU receives power and see's the short it enters download mode. The short should then be removed. You said the computer recognizes the stick, correct? You should not have this short when you try to flash it.

Perhaps just try flashing the kernel and not the entire stick.

    Regards,

I did the proper procedure at the first place!! THE SWITCH DIDN'T WORK the short circuits in the place of the switch also didn't work at all NO CONNECTION WITH PC.,

The only connection I have is in MASK MODE pin 7 and 8 of NAND. But as I read to other forum probably my NAND IS DEAD. Is hardware failure caused by the firmware.

I going to bury my 802iv in garden no more RK in my house...
Probably I am going to buy s802 chipset...

Hate to say it, but sounds exactly like bad NAND. Had to return my first MK802IV for very similar reasons, although the flash switch hasn't broken on any of my devices. I don't think FW is the cause, or mask ROM wouldn't enable with a pin short. Its likely the luck of the draw, you got a faulty chip.

            Hello!
After flashing all works, but device boot too slow. Big blue circle running about 4-5 minutes until device starts.

              Eedit:

Re-downloaded zip and flashed again, re-booting to a normal KK home screen for a few seconds and crashes, it re-boots by its self to a black KK home screen with no navbar for a few seconds and crashes and reboots again for 4-5 minuets and KK starts normally.....

              WOOHOO!

Cheers again NEO! your a legend.....

Update.... Stopped working! Runs to kk home screen and crashes when turning on wifi.....

              Any advice/help please peeps?

Go to the Thread and you find an alternative Kernel in HD.
with this kernel it should Work.

Try it with this Kernel. http://download1508.mediafire.com/7a...8_Stick_HD.img

some of the mk809III are very piggy on the kernel.
