XBMC WIFI BUFFERING

using the latest wasser 4.4.2 @ build 95

I have two minix units. one is hardwired the other is on wifi. the hard wired one is solid.

the wifi one had issues with my old linksys e3000 router. Get a good wifi router (something AC such as the netgear r7000 or buffalo wzr1750dhp, and install ddwrt - I am using the r7000 with upgraded antennas) - on the 5ghz band the problem will disappear.

if your using a 29-70$ dlink, good luck...

I had a lot of problems with my Linksys wag120n ADSL2+ router and the Minix.
They all went away when I purchased an Asus rt-n10+ router.

XMBC was very iffy with streaming, stutter and frequently losing the network.
RK Remote (on my phone) often failed to see the MINIX, when it did work it was flaky.
MINIX couldn't see SERViio as a DNLA server from my PC at all.

Now they all work flawlessly.
(replaced the Linksys router when a lightning strike took it out)
