Tronsmart vega s89 16g xbmc problem

    Greetings
Have just got one of these devices and flashed fin rom 1.2 (thanks a million) and installed the accompanying xbmc apk.My problem is that the audio output is set at android audiotrack and wont let me change , the sound plays thru my mele f10 pro remote speaker only! My other problem is the video output is set on windowed on display mode and wont let me change to full screen. So film playback is not full screen. Would really appreciate anyones help here fairly new to this.

You won't be able to change that in XBMC. This is an issue with the ROM not having Audio Device Manager so you can't select defaults. Hopefully somebody can reach out to Eric with geek buying and see if they can include that in newer ROM.

Video output can only be changed if XBMC is given root access. You must allow XBMC root or it's stuck on normal. Try pressing Z afterwards and it should change aspect ratio. Otherwise the \ key switches from windowed to fullscreen. If not clear please post screenshot.

Try disabling USB audio by removing its support in /system/etc/audio_policy.conf

Hello, I have a question regarding this.
I put finless 1.6 rom on the box, however the audio output is still set to "android, audiotrack" and won´t let me change it.
Same with Video output is still set on "windowed" and won´t let me change it to full screen.
With regards to these two settings, it´s just like it was before the rom update.

All the files I have tested since the upgrade work fine now, everything is in sync, etc...

So my question is, is this "normal" that these settings can´t be changed and is it a problem in any way?

Sorry, I am pretty new to android boxes :-)

                  Thanks
                  Mark

Hi all . I had the same issue with the sound playing through the mele f10 pro speaker only.
I did not like the soundabout as it is a paid app. so I removed the usb section from /system/etc/audio_policy.conf and I can report to have the sound back through my HDMI connection.

you must have the device rooted to change this file.

                    Thanks noderat !

Never noticed any "static sound". I will check when I get home.

It only comes on when you are playing a video on xbmc eg when scrolling thru menus its off .its like the speaker is on sound but none of the actual audio from the TV. Just thinking of battery as well
