HDMI Chip Tronsmart Vega S89 (Elite) ?

Does anyone know, is it a different HDMI Chip than at the AML8726 MX (HD18 v2.22)?
Because I don't want to get into the same trouble:

At a monitor (1280 x 1024) with 720, at two HDready TV and another fullHD TV it works fine via HDMI...."

That's the problem, because / of cause I don't have it any longer and couldn't find any picture (so I've thinking about "no risk no fun" )

I had a weird experience with a CX921 - in the does not work on some TV's department - I took mine to a friends house and their TV would show NO output what so ever - so I took my monitor down to theirs - switched resolutions / frequencies etc - still their TV refused to show a picture. Then and this one of those life lessons, I used the short HDMI extension cable that came in the box and bang - we had a picture.

Now then this is really weird to me, if I plugged the original HDMI connector that was plugged into the TV straight into the back of this Android box, NO OUTPUT, but when I put the small extension cable as a joiner inbetween the original cable and the TV I got a picture - I am still questioning my own eyesight when it happens.

Just an FYI.

It works fine on my Samsung but I find the picture quality is not that great compared to my other devices.

Via google I can't find any information about this...
I've ordered the not Elite and this is out of stock at the moment (till 30. April), and if you can give me more information/link I'll contact Eric to cancel the order...

It was on these forums, but it may have been an M8 unit. Panasonic, Vizio, LG work fine here.

I have a 'Grundig VLC 6110 C' ...
The only M802 tablet that I can find is the 'Onda V975m' and if it is known, that some TV's not working with it, it is to risky for me, so I think I'll cancel the order...

Well I can't say it's "known" to have problems, only one report from one person and they could have faulty hardware or they could have just made a mistake themselves. But cancel the order and keep your ear to the ground and see if anybody else complains - then if not order again.

At the moment I'm not really sure what to do (but I think I'll give it a chance)...
Worst case I resell it at **** (because of that I ordered the Standard and not the Elite) or use it as an Eishockey Puck ...

Only 1 reported case of the ethernet not working properly. I'm game, as I'm going to be buying a few more of these.

from that pic (and a recent one on geekbuying.com) it appears that the HDMI lines come direct from the S802 SoC, with only a few resistors and diodes for signal maintenance.

ie: no HDMI chip, so to speak. who knows what is inside the S802 though.
