Unlocked RK3188T kernels for Jelly Bean

I've been asked several times to build Jelly Bean kernels with the T 'locks' overridden. I've finally got round to doing this.

Thanks to TOM / RADXA for making public their source code. I have simply added override code and put in the DMESG output to indentify if the SOC is a T or not. Other than that it is exactly the same as RADXA. The .GIT repo I used was dated 31st March.

Kernels are built for TV Boxes (RK1000 codec, TV out and SPDIF support), they're 1080 res. and 1.6 (CPU), 600 (GPU), 720 (DDR).

Have you changed the HDMI output to 1080p and IT66121=y in the config for Jellybean?
If I use the KitKat config file and run menuconfig on the Jellybean source, the above 2 options aren't configured correctly on the Jellybean source.
Maybe that is why people are getting black screens or no boot.
But you probably already configured everything correctly.

I also read somewhere you can substitute the Jellybean drivers/video/rockchip files with those from the KitKat source but don't know it it works, since those hdmi/lcd drivers might be the trouble.

Hmmm .. there was a problem previously with my KK kernel builds where if I set Video DDR then it wouldn't boot. These had Video DDR.

Just try your kernel kernel-jb_AP6210.img on tronsmart mk908ii (rk3188t), doesn't boot after nand erase and full rom installation (finless 1.6 with 1080 boot).
I've got the four penguins.

I suspect you need a more recent ROM but thanks for the feedback. THe ROM I'm using to test with is called "htc_t018_pubilic_ap6210_20140226.img". What's the latest 'stock' tronsmart mk908ii build?

Ethernet does not work on CX-921a rtl8188 with kernel kernel-jb_RT8188-VMAC, stock config for radxa does. Wifi works.
