doesn't work on mk908
i've test all kernel for ap6210 and none boot on mk908 finless 1.8 rom with 1080p boot.img of course
also with any rom my ddr seem to be always in suspend at 222mhz. a real shame, my mk808b run at 300mhz on china oversea stock rom and kernel... and with oc i can put 466 that run at cold temp at real 428mhz very stable without any fan in stock case. only oc'ed the ram with mo123 kernels(cpu_stock-gpu_stock-ddr_466) give 14500 antutu on media player edition mo123 rom vs 16500 for my mk908... very disapointed.
Yeah i remark that is useless to oc the cpu and gpu to have a bigger score (flickerring anyway, overheat and unstable with time) only oc the ram give better result. i've done many many test during couples of weeks with fan mod and other trick...and if i try higher cpu or gpu freq the performance decrease. Maybe could be the same way on this SoC...
For now none of the provided oc kernel boot up. can you build ram only jb kernel on mk908 please
i'll be your fast and assiduate tester

hi D33, by the way... it seems mk908v3 and mk908v5 use efuses on the rk3188. default v5 kernel does several things depending on the rk3188 efuse. It takes the leakage level from the efuse for dvfs and tells cpufreq (if rk_tflag==true) to delete any value higher than 1416. latest cnx kitkat firmware also uses a efuse.c file but with references to rk3066 instead of 3188. efuses.c does not exist in the mk908V1 sdk leak. That file is used by dvfs.c and I think that the efuses for the V3 and V5 are different. exact same kernel and system image on the V5 goes up to 1.4ghz and on the V3 it goes to 1.6
can someone rebuild that beast with rk_tflag==false ( tflag is trottle cpu no doubt) and tweak appropriate mv voltage to run a v5 board at 1.6ghz at least?
i'll be an asssiduate tester for that
thanks for all kernels you build
