Thanks from me too! This seems to be a solid version of the factory rom. So far, everything appears to work well - Ethernet connects with no issues, wi-fi is good and even MX Player's H/W + decoder seems smoother than on other factory releases. Apps requiring root just work, with no further effort.

The supplied Gotham XBMC version (late March) also works smoothly with 1080p streams and the interface has no lag.

Edit: The Play Store sees the M8 as a TV device which restricts apps. Inability to install paid apps may be an issue as well. Perhaps a build.prop edit?

This Rom is Great Sorted my Wifi issues 6mbps to 33-36mbps!!!

How did you update?

I tryed update my m8.
Dont know if i did it correctly.
I copied the files to a sdcard.
then i went in to the update menu and choose the zip file and it started.
but when i check system info i get this.

Yes, 5ghz works fine, although in my setup 2.4 ghz provides a stronger signal.

To flash new firmware use the SD card method, as explained here:

In other words, use a "toothpick" on the hidden reset button, and not the updater tool on your current rom.

This is the method I used, and it worked perfectly.

copy 3 files to SD Card root directory, Press and hold Hidden reset button (in av port) while plugin power lead until Installation screen appears...

I told you yesterday that they have release new rom and is more stable now with wifi woes and is pre rooted rom also chinese weather stuff taken off

Can some post pictures of the revision screen
