Hi Guys:

We won’t let you know, and we finally push the developer to release the custom rom for the Q7 TV BOX.

Please note, this firmware is just for the Q7 tv box, you can’t use it on the k-r42 , t-r42, cs918 or mk918. (if you don’t know the difference between those device, check here

Now there are SOOOOOOO many similar device in china market, same casing, but different pcba board, make sure you know what you get. so here we go:

Changelog:
v1.0.0
-based on the latest Q7 firmware
-rooted
-spoofed as Galaxy SIII for better playstore compatibility
-build.prop edits (wifi tweaks, beter movies, jpeg quality, etc)
-gameloft fix
-new mouse pointer
-new bootanimation
-rearanged buttons on system bar
-fixed few strings (was “Your tablet will shutdown” now “Your Q7 will shutdown”)
-all bloatware apps removed (check orig apps folder in zip if you need any)
-all usless shortcats removed from launcher screen
-firmware odexed to better utilize ram and make it faster
-libmedia.so pached for Dolby and DTS pastrought in XBMC and other players
-kernel micro stutter fix
-cpu clock changed to 1ghz to be the lowest
-new wallpaper
-new settings under Settings<Q7

I just confirm with factory.

there is only one version of Q7, it is XT-Q7-V10. that's the only pcba board the factory shipped to us.

the XT-Q7-V01 is the sample device, not really shipped.

also bluetooth doesnt seem to work properly.....
i have a G910 gamepad bought from Geekbuying.
it pairs (one LED shows) but loses connection immediately... works ok on my phones.

Sending files to the Q7 via bluetooth works ok though

Seriously Ilove your work bro, The Q7 custom rom is the smoothest and greatest firmware out there.

One thing no one fixed till now, Not a single xbmc version id able to run xbmc in real 1080p.

If you go to system under xbmc, Video output, It shows 1280x672p which is less than 720p.

Unfortunately it shows that it has options, But it stays at the same 1280x672p.

Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried beyond xbmc latest one and the xbmc link you provided in the first post.

Can somone guide me on how to flash my Q7 Box please as its suffering from random reboots. I use a MAC so if it needs to be done via a laptop/pc kindly advise what i have to do or if i can do it by usb.

Hope someone is still watching this thread... when I try to flash this firmware, I get a Fail message at the end of the firmware download. I have a V11 box with an 2014-08-15 date
