It is from a stock tablet... either 4.0.4 or 4.1.1?

Hi guys. I am new here ( my first post) and before 2 days I got my next book tablet. to be honest with you I was between 2 tablets but I choose this one when I see that there is a support thread about next book tablets. The first day I manage to root it with Cydia impactor very easy I must say. The only reason I needed to root it is to get rid off the pre-installed apps and to get xposed framework and gravity box on this device and I be more that OK. But before I make something I need to be as more I can be "safe" and to be able to restore a backup and have my device functional again. I own a nexus smartphone so I am a little familiar with flashing and nandroid backups and custom roms and recoveries. So I get to the point I have some questions:
1.My board is EBM8000NBD and my model is NX008HD8G so witch recovery from the OP I must use?
    2. The backup that I take with this recovery will give me the option to restore my device to a previous fully working state?
3.My serial number is YF071438021 and on the box say that manufactured on July 2014 in case you need that info.
I an happy to be here in that community.

I haven't used this recovery system yet so I don't know what options are available but see if there's an option to dump a log to the sd card, that should give you some more information about what's going on.

Are you using my TWRP version for you model from the download page linked in the first post of this thread?

    ShaunMT
yea i am. its probably just the hardware on it. sometimes i have to push the power a couple times to get it to come on and to do the volume - and power it sometimes takes a few dozen tries. It isn't my primary tablet, literally i fixed someones computer yesterday and they were like "do you want these 3 broken tablets?" xD they only found one and are planning on giving me 2 more same condition i figure if i can get the running i could have fun with them without endangering my pos Chinese tablet that i use ahahah.
