XBMC Gotham 13 stable Allwinner A31 problem

Hi guys, i have a Mele A1000G with the Allwinner A31. I downloaded the Gotham 13 Stable but it doesn't play anything. Anyone has the same problem?

my box is the one with the external antenna and it has the vidon.me xbmc version but mine is not using an external player. It plays 1080p perfect though but i have a buffering problem. After 20 minutes or so the movie keeps buffering after 1 second of playback. I tweaked the advancedsettings.xml but gave me the same results, that's why i want the stable gotham 13, but it doesn't work. I get the same as you, only sound.
My firmware version is the latest v3.1.3
The gamepad i have is a playstation 2 gamepad and i am using these usb adapters

On my RK3188 TV Box i just connect them and it recognizes them automatically.
With my Mele A1000G there is no detection

P.S: I haven't found a linux image for Allwinner A31 in the link you provided

I have an allwinner a31 here that I have been using to test gotham and it has been working fine.

I uninstalled vidon.me then installed gotham and went to gotham settings and the video section. You then change the settings to expert mode down the bottom and once that is done you can enter the acceleration menu and turn off mediacodec, leave libstagefright enabled.

Once i had done that my movies played back fine even my 1080p stuff.

I don't know on yours if you have to uninstall it first but I had to as it wouldn't let me install Gotham along with it. I still have the stock firmware on the device which is probably JellyBean tho.

This is what I am not 100 percent sure of. It looks identical to my K-r42s and T-R42s and was actually sent to me as a replacement for a faulty K-R42.

If I google the CS918s it shows me this :



Mine looks the same but without the camera.



When I boot it up I get 4 sqaures animated that says MBOX or something.

I re-installed xbmc.. (before.. i did a upgrade from rc1)(re-install after android/data/xbmc deletion)
Hw is working now!

But,
Still same issues
-xbmc says No internet connection (ip / dns ect are looking good) ( using wifi)
-addons do work.. if installed manual ( with-out repro) (watching filmOn tv)
-common cache fail error
-lots of addon errors

Only xbmc version that works great is SPMC 1.4 with stagefright enabled ( non lib-media edition )

Man are you sure you have an A31s device and not an RK3188 one? A31 and A31s don't support stagefright

I managed to make the perfect playercorefactory.xml with mine you can play movies, series and auto download subs from the net. You can also stream live sports streams from sportsdevil and sopcast. Tomorrow I will post a simple guide and a demo video
