Btw, is R89 better than Tronsmart Vega S89-H Amlogic S802-H for video playback?

Tronsmart Vega S89-H has some really good reviews by users.

@oman, i'm about to order one R89, but i just read the following comment from http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Beeli...51931735.html:

After waiting 4 days to confirm payment and prepare package China Post Air Mail took only 7 days to deliver parcel. Impresive. For a plus it is newest version on PCB v3.0 with 100k4 firmware. But there are also downfalls. No auto Sleep after set time (i.e. 1 min). Sometimes there are some micro stutters (mouse freeze for part of the second and sounds are interruped). It is especially evident when CPU governor is set to "ondemand". Luncher3 isn't configurable but other may use default one. Internal data partition is too small (only 2GB). I can't install i.e. Horn game. But these issues could potentially be resolved with firmware update.

Are the problems pointed out by the buyer known ones or is this just a bad batch?

    Thanks.

Except the Google Music app everything is really good for me. My Minix X8-H is not, a bit ironic when it comes to earlier trashing in this thread from the same company.
    Any news about Google Music?

As far as i know beelink ready to suport 2160P 60HZ. Why we cannot get this resolution ? any idea ?
Because of fail in EDID comunication,I guess..

    Advise:
    1.Try another HDMI cable..
    2.The latest ROM.

If I power of my device via long press at IR (via the opening menu at long press) it also power off the USB (e.g. HDD)...
But can't power it on (with the IR I use... it's another one (old rk3188) because the beta tester didn't got the stock IR)...

BTW: no need to double post...

Hi, im intrigued by this new toy, but i'd need a box which provides complete shut down when switched off (meaning, it turns completely off all ports) and can be re-switched on by remote.
I know that Nagrace model can do it, but what about this Beelink?

can someone who has it answer this, pls?

    thx

There exists an older chart at an older thread

But it's 450-MP6 and not 450-MP8 and only GPU...

I literally just had a reply from geekbuying saying they have the v3.0 PCB in stock.

I think I'll give my AM802 round red box to my sister and order an RK3288 box.

but I'd really like to know how much faster the RK3288 CPU and GPU are in relation to the AM802 - I like emulators and they need a bit more CPU for fast enough playback.

    109k4

I am running the 109k4 F/W and so far video playback is not bad but when i start or pause and play video from my nas htere is a querky audio noise that goes for about 1.5 seconds. and also i have to keep clicking on the keyboard options and turning off hardware keyboard every time i start up the r89. and when i click on a link to watch on xbmc sometimes the r89 reboots it happened to me about 10 times now.

is there anything else you would like me to test oman?? i got the dualband AC router is there anything on that you would like me to test my friend.
