I thought to myself that's inside the kernel...
Hope that our kernel devs here at the board will get a 'clean' kernel source...
    at least we disabled it
but we've also prepared one for those who really love seeing high score

Just an idea. For android mobiles, AOSP ROMs sucks on antutu even without all bloatwares that a manufacture put in their stock FW.

The question is, if a patch exists to manipulate Antutu scores then why the ranking still in the normal state? If someone has the patch, why not he use it to top the rankings? I believe that Antutu emulates certain process in an android device that an app would normally perform. If it gets high score whether because of the part of a firmware or ROM or its hardware then it's not called cheating. It is coded for a purpose of giving a better performance not meant just for the sake of benchmarking.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this discussion is more to business matter.

But some people love to chase that Antutu score

Certainly didnt help with some early videos pictures showing 3k scores for 802 devices and people feeling they have an underplaying device so to speak which is of course nonsense when kernal/Firmware is added its the perfomance of the hardware does what it says on the box.
No one would ever take a single benchmark test on a pc it takes many to give a fair idea of what it can do.
Remember some of the early MIPS based players benchmarking those would have caused some shocks and people wondering about benchmarks testing the features and tweaking new firmware brings home the bacon.

I also got 31K on Antutu with Vega S89- but I don't care!
benchmarks for smartphones/TV boxes are stupid thing, on PC it's different matter when you start to play with OCing/Extreme cooling/Bios tweaking and etc'.
I don't care if I get only 5000 points in Antutu as long as I get Smooth experience :-)
I bout The S802 TV box for only 1 reason- silky smooth FHD video playback - for now I am Happy! :-).
Now I am thinking about new ways I can torture the old Rikomagic mk802 IIIS for the Nerves it cost me with the XBMC lags .

Waiting to the review about the new Minix and full comparison between all AML S802 boxes :-)

Please read my first post, the time in the system is being slowed down to increase the average FPS and so as the score.
It's very easy to verify in 3DMark by comparing between the actual time on your watch and the time in 3DMark, it's around 20% slower in 3DMark than the actual.

So what the point...? Anturu app prints craps? Have to correct their code.

S802 is a S802... in a Minix Box or in other box. Who can miss that.. kids? no brain?
Truth is this the best CPU combo with MALI450 at now! It's so fast... RK3188 is just... old now

That is a common misconception by those ignorant of how computers work...

The quality of the other components that are used on the motherboard also make a huge difference in overall performance... It isn't just about which CPU/GPU that is used.

Back in the day, I custom built a computer for a client with an AMD Athlon 3000+ with 4Gb of system memory.... another client chose to purchase a HP computer with an AMD Athlon 3500+ and 8Gb of memory ( which was cheaper than the one I assembled )... the custom build I did with a slower CPU and less memory still out performed the other off the shelf system by a good 10% more... The performance differences were all due to the quality of the other components used on the system board I chose.

Thanks, good quality hardware is important as it's like the foundation of a building, you build things on it. And also the software support is essential, not just a few months but years, right now we are still supporting our first product, NEO G4, launched about 2 yrs ago, it will be receiving a new update this week.
