Flash from stock failed

I flashed from stock ROM, downloaded v3.1 and using the RKDeviceManage.exe embedded. Flash looks completed success. Prompt "Upgrade OK".

Then i connected to the TV and power on the device, it show nothing, what's the problem?

I also encounter same symptom as before, show vertical line only.

Try to reflash the ROM.

When I plug the device the blue led is only light, nothing happens. When I plug again 1-2 times the device is return to normal blue light and is booting.
Why is that?

Mine does the same thing I just plug it in then as soon as I see the light I pull the plug again and it boots. Just got used to doing it. When I have the unit off and turn it on with the tv remote it boots everytime.

I have this issue sometimes, too. Maybe the powersupply failed then, but we should not forget, that we have cheapo TV-Box and not a MINIX. :-)

I reflash the stock ROM and its return to normal, but still no blue light while booting, even the system started up, normally. Is mine one is different?

And I double checked my camera are 2M one, so excluded flashed wrong ROM issue.

When you have no power led, then it seems to be a different version. You can check this on the board inside.

hum, i can flash stock 4.4.2 ROM for AP6210 version and I flashed Ultra HiDef Plus4 2MP/5MP 1080P Multi-Media Super ROM AP6210 Wicked Video Resolution Quality (See Photos) and boot up successfully.

So what do u mean by different version? expect camera resolution and AP6210/MTK? Pls kindly advise.

Warpaper, I can't explain why you have no led on your cs968. When any cs968 ap6210 firmware work fine for you, then the Quickshot ROM should work,too.
My cs968 has a led on the top. It is blue. I heard from another version with a red led, but never of none. I assume you have another version, but I don't know what is different in your version without led.
Have you tried to boot with otg USB instead or together with the regular power supply.

There are two led, blue and red too. Red lighting when you power off with stock remote control.

i havn't use the original remote control but a flymouse only.

I remember it do have a blue LED on when i brought it, however it doesn't on sometime ago (may be after i flashed to stock 4.4.2). Anyway i think blue LED isn't a problem. And i found I have similar symptom (vertical line) as someone before w/ no answer till now.

I lov'n to try this ROM but still no luck. 8 (

FYI, I flashed netcloudgo.net ROM sucess too.
