Vega S89 elite AV output Issue

Has any one been able to get any video and audio to play from the external AV output jack. I have the 1.6 ROM loaded otherwise plays nice with the HDMI.

I have the same problem with my unit the hdmi works fine on my flat screens via hdmi but when i used the av cable on a crt tv i get picture but it scrolls by and i cant get it to stop scrolling.

make sure you guys connect to the av port in TV, not the RGB port, i make a mistake when i first use the av , and in the end, i find i correct to the wrong port in TV. and change it, problem solved.

Don't forget to disconnect your HDMI cable, and reboot with only AV cable connected should work.

Where can I setup the a/v ?
At
[Settings] -> [Display]
I only find HDMI, and at
[Settings] -> [Other] -> [More Settings] -> [DEVICE / Display]
also nothing about a/v ???

BTW: only one at time possible? No HDMI and a/v?

Furthermore, uncheck automatic HDMI detection and set HDMI-576 or a lower mode. Make sure that you diconnect any HDMI cable from the box itself. I guess there is a small switch inside the HDMI connector that inhibits the AV output when a HDMI cable ic connected to it. Do a full reset and everything should work fine, the menu entries will be shown if AV out is active.

PS:

Ok only HDMI or a/v but not 'and'...
My TV shows that he recognise 'CVBS 576i' but only shows on screen like 480 so I lost a lot of... but if I switch at [Settings] -> [Display] to 480cvbs the screen nearly fits ...

Note,
You Might find another bug..

When using xbmc.. Playing a vid with a bigger resolution then screen
Then xbmc doesn't resize the vid to match the borders of your screen ( aka..most of the vid is off screen playing)

Or
If you set.. Letter size to big in android, apps will start playing 90degrees

Note: use the a/v cable that came with the unit, others don't seem to work
