HardwareGuru Malipatch 5.0 with full HLS support

Specs:
- Improved gpu performance (not OC).
- raised lower CPU clock.
- Improved ram ( @ 720mhz )
- 1080p kernel (Custom kernel)
- True 1080p ( no overlay )
- Malipatch included
- DRM root detection disabled
- Full HLS streaming support
etc...

Known bugs:
- Netflix gives 5-10 seconds scrabmled picture uppon start.

That was the less important .. now the important things..

What does it do?

LIVE Streaming Apps ( HLS ):
- Root detection disabled (DRM), we need to test this !
- All HLS app should work, YES ALL !!

Tested apps: these where broken on rockchip!
- NPO (fully functional)
- RTLXL (fully functional)
- 3FM (fully functional) also the cam!
- NPO FIFA 2014 (fully functional)

XBMC:
- Smooth 1080p playback. (also in preloaded XBMC internal player).. YES.. SMOOTH!!
- It plays blueray .iso files and .mkv files in XBMC without frameskips.
- DTS/DD audio passthrough
- Not rooted
Note: you can encounter some frameskipping in the first few seconds of a movie, after that it is gone.

Need root?
Remember Root breaks some apps for root detection!
This is a basic non rooted rom for a simple reason.
- Everyone that needs root can mostly root it..
- People that dont need or want it mostly dont know how to unroot a firmware.
I made rooting over adb simple so most tutorials will work to root it. (ro.secure=0)

Overclock?
Only the ram has been set to 720 mhz.
The lower cpu is raised but the high cpu is still at 1608mhz
- The kernel is inside boot.img, no i will not take it outside

Flash Notes: ( READ this )
- Flashtool not included ( need rkflashtool )
- Unzip the .img and flash it with rkflashtool
- The kernel boot dont show a logo, so the first boot can give you about a minute black screen !! just be patiant !! the second boot will go much faster.
- When you first boot, wait till "Airpin starts" before doing anything or the app installer will abort !! you will end up without preloaded apps !! This can take some time !! just be patiant !!

4.2.2 , not sure about the MINIX version think for X7 the last one.

Yes it is suitable for hd ready. I t should boot at 720p. Correct me if i am wrong..

Please dont ask for that, its a dutch version with service addons. its allmost the same as minix edition. dont i share enough?

its 4.2.2 with 12.4 XBMC, gotham is not stable enough yet.

DTS/DD passthrough over HDMI?

I have tried several roms including your beta 04c and have not found one that plays 5.1 surround sound DTS/DD over HDMI. I only get sound out of the front speakers. On my PC runing XBMC I get sound out of all speakers from the same HDMI cable. Some X7 roms do 5.1 DTS/DD passthrough but only over SPDIF. I would prefer to use only the HDMI cable from my X7 to my Onkyo TX-NR626. Does this rom do 5.1 DD/DTS over HDMI without having to do other things to make it work? What settings do I select on the X7 settings page and also on XBMC Frodo or Gotham? Thanks
