You have to learn how to take apart boot.img and repack it to replace the first boot screen. You really need a linux setup to do it.

Wow, ok, for today I will leave it as standard, first of all I have to learn much about customizing RK Roms first...

So yesterday I wanted to see if my ps3 comtroller worked with the new tab....It does. Works with usb and bluetooth.

Now a question...Is it normal for the bluetooth address of the tab to keep changing? Or could it be that the app for ps3 controller changes the address. I've serched google, and not found much. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Loving the rom by the way.

I'm trying to get boot.img mounted for a cubeu30gt, also 3066. Any tips, I've tried did skipping I bytes but cannot gun zip the resulting file. Cheers.

This happened with the 10G2, Bob tweaked the build.prop and other files so more apps would show up in Google Play IIRC.

Did he change something since he load up his first version?

This is perfectly normal on custom roms for the build prop to be tweaked. If the original build prop is used than you will suffer from things like lack off apps in the Google Playstore. Tweaking the build prop is a way to optimise the workings of your tablet and thus improve things.

If you are bothered about the name of the tablet you can edit the build prop yourself and change the name to what ever you want

I did not change build.prop in my ROM. Here is what is in build.prop stock!

In fact if you change build.prop as far as version or product ID, you start getting errors all the time about RK Update has failed. I have not researched yet what causes that. Thus I left build.prop alone in this ROM.

My supplier has confirmed it was edited prior to shipping to enable additional games via Market.
I've asked them to let me know what was changed, so I can decide if I want to change it back !

                                Weird problem occurred...

I've ran Super One Click for the needed root : no problem.

My PC recognizes the N101, however in device management I only see Samsung Android Phone (I'm guessing this is my N101?).

I don't see anything yellow... Therefor the flashing tool does not recognize the N101.

                                Anyone?
