Bob, i have been messing with this thing for a bit and something i noticed is when I do step 8 'adb push rkdump /data/', it gives the same info as it does for 'adb help'. Is this the norm?

When I type adb usb to look for devices, message is 'error:device not found'. This is at the # prompt. If nothing else, i am learning a lot.Comment

For get step 8 for a minute. Restart and in the command wondow type:
adb shell
What do you get?

Now I think that maybe my device is not being seen at all? Command 'adb device' at \platform-tools> comes up with:

I checked to see that the device is hooked up and that debugging is on. All seems good. Any ideas?Comment

Hey, sorry. Just getting frustrated. OK... I type 'adb shell' and I get a # prompt. By the way. below is what i get with 'cat /proc/partitions'. Does this help?
