That's right 2.8.1 is much more stable.
I had installed 2.7 a few months and nothing happened, suddenly it start to freeze

There seems to be a hardware variation to this tablet that for some unlucky ones...the sound doesn't work. I suggest flashing the 3.2 kernel if you have this problem.Randy

Yes there is a solution.
It involves getting the Launcher3.apk from the 3.2 ROM and copying it into the 3.3 ROM.
I will try to make a fix, today.
How about v3.3.1 with the 3.2 kernel and the launcher fix?Randy
