    I have tried the 1.6 ROM, really great thanks a lot Bob, However, the off charging issue still exist.

      Expalin exactly what you mean? I have made it so when it is charging and you press the power off button, you WILL get a dialog asking to power off. Stock ROMs you do not get that and have to hold the power button a long time to power of. This is NOT GOOD as this is a reset not a power off. So file systems are not unmounted and can get corrupted!

      Now if it is charging and you answer YES to power off dialog, it will just boot back up again. So what you do is when it start to reboot, NOW hold the power button a long time. This is safe as during boot file system are not mounted yet.

      It then should charge while off. Now something I noticed. On first boot up it seems to report it is not charged! This is a bug. Reboot one more time and it will report correctly.

        Oh, now I got it. I thought when I choose shut down it will just turn off, but it reboots. So, I have to hold power off button while booting in order to turn the tablet off.

          You are welcome! I thought I put this in the readme for this ROM? Maybe I fogot but I know I typed this up somewhere before.

            can someone shed some light for me. what is the difference between kernel,rom & firmware and if you update one does it update the other & vise versa?
            i have been updating the firmware .img file does that update all of the above?
