I need someone to test this for me. Replace this file in your /system/lib folder....YouTube app works for me now..i cant find anything that breaks. And spmc seems to seek better but it may just be me.

720p version keeps the device cool,
I also tried1080- I could feel the board heat up a little, I am using a cooling fan, no issues eitherway.

For giggles i email google to see if they can let me know what libs it uses and sent a log of the error. Will see if they can point me in the right direction.

Decompress and Flash

To get your device in flash mode use a pin in the hole opposite the blue light...while holding plug in usb to pc. When you see found rkandroid you can let go.

1080 works on everything i tried
Init.d working with scripts in /system/etc/init.d
No need for setcpu look at cpu script in init.d
Replaced browser...sites still zoom the first time you go to them while loading but after that they dont zoom
Bootanimation if you want to change place your bootanimation in /system/media/
Removed crap apps.

SPMC is in /system/usr you have to install. Navigate to folder to install. Remember to go to settings and security and check unknown sources before installing. The latest SPMC is the only one that will work.

Updated all apps i could...kitkat launcher is going to look and act stupid until you update search in the play store.

Warning....this is oc'd.....Flash at your own risk...You must have a good power supply and usb cable...I use an Ipad charger and a usb cable I made. I also use a fan.

Is 1.0 beta or 1.2 the version we should be using?

I was able to get 1.0 working on the device. However, when I flashed the 1.2 it would flash ok but then after it was flashed and tried to reboot it would only go to a black screen. The blue light would stay on for a few minutes but then that would shut off too.

I posted this on another thread but maybe this is the correct place, is there anyway to get full 1080p working instead of scaled 720?

Picuntu and MK808B V5

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone was able to use this ROM and flash a Linux kernel on the recovery partition (procedure described here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...MK808b-SUCCESS!! ) of a MK808B V5 with RTL wifi chipset. I have successfully flashed prahjister's ROM on mine and can use it fine with Android but I would like to try Picuntu on it. However, when I flash the kernel onto recovery and reboot to recovery, I get a blank screen on boot. The little blue light does turn on however so I suspect it probably boots but somehow the HDMI driver does not work as expected.

Thanks for any light anyone can provide.
