sorry for the long delay every one, my crash of my sdcard left me with alot of work to fix. i hope through out the day to be able to post compatibility zips as well as my first build of the CM10 for Allwinner Devices, it seems adding volume control to the navigation bar is a must for most people so i'll add it in to my next release.

Actually, I plan on using a program called "volume in notification" (free from the play store)....

I'll let you know (if) how it works.

So it turns out this program works-it's free (and on the market) and works just as well as the "default" one....CM10 itself on my tablet is a dog though...

Any word on the new compatibility zips?

I'm using CM9 right now and it feels a bit faster than the stock ROMs that I've used on this thing.

Looking forward to it. Been using stock v2 firmware with Pimp My ROM for the last couple of days and want to see how cm 9 and 10 compare to this. It'll be nice to have a working spelling checker, for one thing.

So tron, what do you think of the Pimp my rom tweak? nice huh? BTW, if you ever get CM9 to work properly, let me know-my goes into loop heck no matter what I try...

PMR is OK, I guess. I may try CM9 again since the wifi sleep policy actually works there. Getting cm9 running wasn't that hard, but that could have just been me getting lucky.

Took a chance

Hey, you guys heard of this ROM before?

I took a chance and installed it on my PMID701 X13 and I love it!

The only thing I had to do was to flash it with Livesuit and change the default to English from Chinese when it was done flashing. After removing some stock stuff and updating the existing Google Play it is running awesome with no drop outs for Wireless. Stays connected to my router even when it is sleeping and a charge lasts for a couple of days if not used.

If there is any interest I will put the file up somewhere for you guys with X13's to try it out...

Are you are referring to the Ployer ROM? I tried that on my PMID701i_13, and everything worked except the g sensor. The tablet wouldn't register the rotation and was stuck in landscape mode. Did you have that issue? If it weren't for that, I would have stayed with that ROM, but flashed back to stock because of it.

I had a similar issue as the last poster with the g sensor not working. This is a much more up to date verision think.
