I've been following your threads for cm10 on polaroid. I have the PMID701i 13 model. It has the allwinner a13 chipset in it, so I'm trying to use the 702 instructions for installing cm10 as it has the a13 as well. I can get recovery, I can get everything to flash in the recovery, and I can get cm10 to boot. It works great if I use a mouse. The only thing is that the touch screen is off. It is like it isn't calibrated correctly. I know for sure it isn't my hardware because I did a firmware flash back to the stock image and the screen works fine. I've tried both cm10 roms that you've posted links to and both give similar results. Is it possible that there's a different touchscreen driver that could be implemented for the 701i 13 model? If so, could you possibly tell me how to switch that out?Polaroid PMID701i 13

No new compatibility zips will be posted until Monday, i was hoping to post one for the 4311 and a fix for the 701iX13 TS before then but i really need to focus on cleaning up my bases. With that being said, along with cleaning up the base files ill be cleaning up my Google Drive structure, and starting a new thread to house all them under. so keep a look out Monday 9/24/12 for the new thread, and yes for those wanting to know CM9 and AOKP compatibility ZIPS will be posted for 4311 and 701 series then too.

it seems that allwinner development has come to a end for now from the communityso with this last set of zips i hope to add support for all the Allwinner: Cyanogen and AOKP based roms i know of. (hopefully some manufacture will release an official jellybean firmware so incomplete proprietary files can be charry picked and maybe interest dev to some more building.
so as of now it looks like on the list for support is.
Christian Troys: CM9, AOKP, CM10
Quarx2k CM9, CM10
Cyanbook V0.4
Kangbook
Cyanbook_JB
if you know of any other CM or AOKP allwinner based roms to look at let me know, again sorry for the delay on these compatibility zips.

Will Jellybean work on my Polaroid PMID 4311? Would it fix any wifi connection problems? If so which one would I download and put on there and how do you upgrade from ICS to Jellybean? Would my programs that work on ICS still work on Jellybean. Just wondering.Tablets: Polaroid PMID 701i, PMID 4311, Zeki 10" tablet

Re: Polaroid PMID702c & PMIC703 CM10 Jelly Bean Compatibility
It appears that the Google docs link doesn't contain the pmid702c compatibility zip any more.
Is there a new one in the works?
I'm looking at using either cm9 or 10 on my pmid702c if only because southern telecom just doesn't get customer support.

I believe there are now 3 compatability files with different kernels available, so you can just choose one of the files that begin with "CM10_BOOT"
I'm going to try this one first: CM10_BOOT-NUCLEAR-MT7000-Kernel-v2.1a.zip
Please correct me if I'm wrong

I just want to thank you for the hard work and putting this all together.
I had already been running CM9 and Open Kang for a while, so I already had recovery. It didn't appear that the recovery or the format/wipe files changed so I just used those again and skipped down to the part of installing the ROM and stuff from Recovery.
Now up and running on CM10 Jellybean, seems pretty smooth!
I've already noticed a big improvement in browsing (mainly with Boat Browser), and not sure if it's the ROM or a newer version of the App, but Slacker Radio works for me now, I could never get it to work on stock or any other custom ROM until now.
I went with the CM10_BOOT-NUCLEAR-MT7000-Kernel-v2.1a.zip file, curious if there is any more info on the different Kernels and how one would go about just installing a different kernel? Just do some wipes and reflash another one? Now that I think about it that would probably work.
Thanks again

sorry folks been away to long.....
sorry for the long delay every one, my crash of my sdcard left me with alot of work to fix. i hope through out the day to be able to post compatibility zips as well as my first build of the CM10 for Allwinner Devices, it seems adding volume control to the navigation bar is a must for most people so i'll add it in to my next release.
