Hello everyone, I have a Pipo S1 Pro with Android 4.2.2 and I wonder if the these sources bring any possibility for a custom kernel for this tablet, someone from a different forum tried to do it with old sources but he could not make the touchscreen work, maybe there are at least some useful files within these sources as they are for Pipo tablets. I am willing to be the "guinea pig" for this, here is my dmesg from a fresh boot.
Thanks in advance.Attached Files

Sorry, I did not want to post a nonsense request like that, I was just wondering if these sources contain some leftovers from past rk3188 Pipo tablets that could lead to a customized kernel or even a kitkat rom for my old S1 Pro. A customized kernel with 60 hz fix (58 hz now), higher volume, better battery management, unlocked GPU/DDR frequencies, or just higher stability, but if it's not possible or is not worth it no problem, I am using a rileyrom on it right now and it's ok overall. Thank you all for your replies.

The sources we received were from the 4.4.2 SDK for the M8HD and M7Pro. So far we have an M8HD, M6Pro, and an almost working M7Pro and M9Pro ROM.
The object of the project was to fix some leftover problems that Pipo didn't fix before they quit supporting the device. I'm not sure whether we can make an S1 Pro ROM from these sources since the internal parts between all of these devices are too different.Randy

I now have received a brand new M6Pro for testing. It's charging in my kitchen as I pack to head off to Sweden. I may get chance to 'play' with it over the coming weekend and move the multi-kernel sources on a bit. I assume it has GPs (my M8HD doesn't)Measy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!

It is soooooooooooooo much easier when you have the actual tablet! It took less than 30 minutes to get this one sorted!
