Having issues with my Rc11 wireless remote..

Hi guys, recently brought and wireless rc11 remote off **** and I can't seem to get it working properly, it's like the signal isn't strong enough, my remote has fresh batteries and I've tried the configuring as the manual states but the problem still persists.. Is it an issue with my M8? Or dodgy remote?

    Thanks

Are you also using WiFi at 2.4GHz? If yes, try to use a USB extension cord or a USB-HUB and place the dongle as fare away as possible...

Use usb extension cable and locate Receiver facing to yourself for the the better reception...

I can confirm what "no_spam_for_me" and "TMx" suggests of getting a usb extension.
Had a Mx2 box with Rc11 and worked flawless from other side of room, but when I got M8, i struggled with it the same way you did.
I got the idea there was interference and plugged in my 1m extension cable and then it just worked flawlessly

is it interference or just out of range issue where the remote won't transmit that far JustMe

As far as I could determine it was interference from the M8 side. The reason I say this, is that the Rc11 worked perfectly on my other box,but started giving trouble on M8. As soon as I plug in a usb extension cord it worked like normal again, weird.
I couldn't determine what caused interference

Just a bit of and update to this thread, I tried having the receiver on the end of a 2m long extension cord and the problem still persisted.

So in the end I brought a droidbox VIP remote and it works perfectly!

Only problem is now I have to try and get a refund for the faulty remote...

Anyway thanks for the helps guys!
