    R89-Multimedia playback and XBMC feedback here

    How to feedback the multimedia issues?

    You'd better provide the following:

    1.The HDMI resolution;
    2.The clip or the video/audio info from Mediainfo;
    3.The media player you use,Mxplayer or xbmc or stock Player or else;
    4.Source: SD card (FS) / HDD (FS) / LAN / WiFi (....)
    5.The more detailed description.

    Sorry, I only find the guide in German
    TV-Bild einstellen - Mit dem TV Testbild „First Check“ optimieren Sie Bildformat, Bildhelligkeit, Bildkontrast, Bildfarbe und Bildschärfe an Ihrem Fernseher

    But e.g. google translate helps a little bit

    FullHD, 1920 x 1080 Pixel

    UltraHD, 3840 x 2160 Pixel

    UltraHD, 4096 x 2160 Pixel

    Here you can find more free test pattern (Video 1080P)

    Pay
    Also maybe search for "BUROSCH TV Fine Tuning" (1080P - but I only know the German version)

    Other test pattern
    UltraHD, 3840 x 2160 Pixel

    Maybe others have also some useful test pattern links...

    EDIT
    ------------------------------------------------

    Determine technical and tag data for video and audio files:

    I prefer to use 'MediaInfo Lite' (Integrate with MS-Windows shell (drag 'n' drop, and Context menu))

    (http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/deta...info_lite.html)

    If you want to upload parts of a video which not playing smooth, use e.g.

        After quick test, live streaming 1080i video with h264 format at between 4Mbps and 6Mbps has no errors. This is using wifi 802.11g since I can not get the Ethernet to connect.

          Have not been able to get any sound from this box yet. Ethernet still does not connect, even though it shows up in my router.

            sound is working fine via hdmi and spdif passthrou for me
            but ac3 is not correctly passed throu, my av receiver gets no dolby signal

            //EDIT:
            to make ac3 work in xbmc i had to enable ac3 transcode in xbmc expert settings, for some reason that doesnt enable when you set ac3 passthrou xD

            im very happy with dolby digital
            grab some ac3 trailer from here and have fun

            i asked you in the other thread too if you disabled wifi to make ethernet work...

                  Got Ethernet working, still no audio. Everything is so small, hard to read, setting huge icons. This is with 1080p. This box is fast.

                            Oman,
                            For me with preinstalled xbmc i have some bugs:

                            With every movie from the addons, after 10sec it stops for half second , and then plays.

                            In the genesis addon, on the box office year it's not showing me recent years(2012,2013,2014). It stops at 2011. Other devices shows regular. Anybody can confirm this
