minix neo x8 or neo x7 ???

I bought from geekbuying a tronsmart s89 elite and it had problem with the HDMI Output.
I was return it back to geekbuying and Im thinking of buying a minix instead.
Which is better,stable and more reliable...the new minix x8 or the old minix x7.

The x8 will perform better than the x7 but we are still waiting for the firmware to be stable -- the x7 has had the dev work done .

because neo x8 yes its better hardware machine and the only problems is the software?

... the x7 has had the dev work done .

If I'm not wrong, I think, he/she mean that the dev's had done the important work at the x7 to get the best at the x7 (and what they had done isn't bad ) or use the freakbox (also a rk3188 device with the best of the board dev's at the rom)...

is it better to go to neo x7 (rockchip)perhaps more stable but with outdated software/hardware...
or go to neo x8 (amlogic)more unstable better hardware...and wait for the stable rom?

and one more question between these two which is the device with less hardware problems....?
because this is my main fear.....after the problem I had with tronsmart s89 which is similar with neo x8 (amlogic chip)

Not so easy to answer because I like to tinker and I'm always interested in new things (also maybe bad things )... so of cause I bought a X8 and my is relative ok, but other have a lot of fun with it...

And of cause every new Chinese device will be buggy at software, so
- if you can live with it still they fix it and/or the board dev's like leolas or wasser do it, take a x8 (it has a little bit more power then the x7 and a little bit better picture/video quality)
- if not, take a x7...

Between x7 and x8.. which is the device with less
hardware problems...?
I ask because for example trosmart s89 hdmi stopped working after only 2 weeks (and I read many people had same problems with s89)...

Yes, but the round ones are not the x8, so you can't compare theme...
I don't own a x7, so I can't answer it, but the problems at x8 seams to be because of bad placing heatsink (the heatsink it self is ok)...

And what is the effect of heatsink problem and what the solution?
open the device and repositioning the heatsink ?
