Then there exist a way for the round ones:

BUT, because I don't know if this little chip also exists at you board you have to know, which pins at the NAND you have to short...
BUT, because no img version for flashing via usb_burning_tool at PC exist, you have to find out, if it also works with the "normal zips for SD card" (which exist for flashing/update at your device) at this special SD card........ ???

Hello freaktab! I purchased two identical boxes. Same pcb, build number and kernel . I also tried to upgrade to 1.7 with identical results
seeing as the hardware is different and with the previous results, is it safe to say do not try this on my second box ? Probably a stupid question but I am pretty new and currently lack alot of the technical knowledge 
On a side note just wanted to say thank you to all the freaktab members. I've been reading the forum for a couple weeks and what a great community. Knowledgeable, helpful and curtious. I'm learing lots !

Yep definitely do not try on the second box! tried for 2 days and looks like there is no recovering it just sent it back in the end. one thing I did notice was that box actually shut down properly using the remote when it was working.Originally posted by xray View PostHello freaktab!
