Okay I got my wife said nextbook in the title. Well instead of doing research like a dummy before updating it to the new firmware on their site I did it. Well it worked fine for like a week then out of the blue when she went to turn it on it wouldn't come back on. It would get to the Nextbook screen then kick back off. Well I got it to come on by getting to the no command screen and then messing with he android menu and factory restoring it. But know it don't like to keep her apps on the screen. So trying to be a smarty pants I stuck them all in a folder on the home screen and restarted it to see what it did. Well when it came back on the folder was empty, when I clicked on the blank folder it said launchpad failed and then it blinked for a second and not only did the apps return in the folder but so did her original ones that was on her home screen.
Well when I called tech support for all of this I got the usual run around and they tried to get me to do another factory reset and this and that and I almost had them just send her a new one until they asked me for the receipt of the original so they can confirm when I bought it. Well at this time I think it got tossed on accident buy are roommate because we keep tech receipts know nextbook wont do anything cause I cant show proof of when i bought it. So is there anyway to convert it back to the firmware it had on it that actually worked? Or shoudl I try and just re-run the update on it?
