Be underwhemed by bay trail so far..cherrytrail show much more promise and you havent mentioned K1 denver now theres a chipset.

Just read on there forums dual boot will not be possible.

Also the reason for intel is that it is open sourced.
Better for the developers.

For me dual boot is not needed. I will just use Windows. Good XBMC, sopcast and ace stream plus some steam games and emulators. No need for Android for me. It's good that Android can also be installed though.

Hello snake007 for dual boot :

- install windows 7/8 in carte SD INT

- install android 4x in carte SD EXT

- and make a dual boot

Like this, it may be possible, right?

This will kill Android smart TV boxes.Who will wants android if can take WIN in same small low powered box.
With WIN and some air mouse controler i will never go again for Android.

if it's running well no hiccups with windows os then you are right it would be
a very strong competitor.

I just placed my order at MINIX-USA for the new MINIX X8-H, but I am a little worried because I was thinking that the X8-H was the latest and faster Android-TV Box available from MINIX...

But Now I have found that there is a new and faster NEO-Z64 model using Intel-Atom 64bit processors, does this mean that MINIX will not use Rockchip or Amilogic chips anymore?

But what worries me more is whether MINIX will continue giving service, support and firmware upgrades to all users of their MINIX X8-H Units???

Intel was sleeping a years and Arm was doing nice job in android smart world market.

Now it is time not to think about more and more ARM GHZ ,but to think about WIN on our smart boxes.

If win will works nice then there is no interest for us to have Android,but if we need it we can install it,but i think Win will be the main OS.

IF you want latest device then you will never ever have any box in front of your TV.Every day there is something new.Later there will be Minix Intel atom with optical out,giga lan and after thet with 4gb dd3 and.......

Dont worry about Minix support ,they are top brend manufacturer and main competitor for them in Atom world now will be ASUS.
