Intel was sleeping a years and Arm was doing nice job in android smart world market.

Now it is time not to think about more and more ARM GHZ ,but to think about WIN on our smart boxes.

If win will works nice then there is no interest for us to have Android,but if we need it we can install it,but i think Win will be the main OS.

IF you want latest device then you will never ever have any box in front of your TV.Every day there is something new.Later there will be Minix Intel atom with optical out,giga lan and after thet with 4gb dd3 and.......

Dont worry about Minix support ,they are top brend manufacturer and main competitor for them in Atom world now will be ASUS.

I only hope that MINIX will continue the support and Firmware Updates of all X7 and also of the New X8-H Units!!

it basically has the same specs as this TV box. I will post a review of the tab and if it works fine I will order the tv box, too. Dual boot will be nice but if Windows works as expected who will ever need Android.
I haven't used Android L yet, but all other versions up to KitKat are way behind being an adequate full-featured desktop OS.

Look for a nuc2820 with Windows 8.1 bing and android . That way you have the best bucks for your money
w8.1bing is free to download, and is the full version of the payed version without the bing surch engineering, but who cares.... Android you can find on 01.org and is also free. Both can be installed on one ssd or HD and its working oke. Also the internet and WiFi chip is much beter and give you full dl speed.

Besides that, the processor use in xbmc in w8 is About 20% when you watch full 3D HD, alsoMax 30% when streaming full blu-ray from your netwerk, zero skips or framedrops. Only minor poit is the lack of spdif, but you can buy a seprate hw for it, or just use HDMI passtrue with full dt-HD without any sweat. That combination is cheap compared with pure android systems. To install everything cost About 2 hrs work. But he ...... Its a hobby.....

You are advising illegal methods. Windows 8.1 with Bing is not a standalone product that can be downloaded for free. It has to be preinstalled by the manufacturer on select devices (low-cost laptops, Windows phones, tablets less than 9" in size).
