Well i have made my 1ยบ rom, custom kernel, custom recovery and some other bits and pieces
    Superb.

I would like to try it.

Do you have some fast trick how to improve 1080p version to work smoother. It has speed problems in XBMC, YouTube streams and some local streams I use. It has certain frame drops. Games are slow too.

If it would be huge problem, just ignore it I would go back to 720p kernel and problem solved.

Hmm, what rom do you use?
      what xbmc?
The best xbmc for this device is SPMC.(thats one of the things i changed in my rom)
Youtube dint test, i going to test later after i have some sleep
About my rom, its still beta, i need to make some more tests.

Hello, happy to hear that some one managed to make a working 1080p ,OC,Kernel for our divice.
Does any one know if this Kernel can work with Quickshot v3.1 Rom?
          Keep up the good work.
From a thankful owner of cs968M

I tested more. It is stablem, nicely work. Regarding speed, maybe it would be more efficient if you could make a kernel 1080p with slightly overclocked DDR and GPU. I think RAM handling is a problem.

Another one, could you please try some stream like CNN where you have moving letters, scroll bar, there you can see that frame rate is not so good, letters are not moving smoothly as it should be with correct frame rates.

I use Tech1 ROM for MTK devices.

Hi, well i cant do DDR OC, D33 sayd it have a bug somewhere... if i enable the DDR OC no boot :/ and the GPU its already with overclock, from 400 to 600mhz (RK3188T the default gpu speed its 400mhz, the RK3188 its 533mhz)
Btw use SPMC and not XBMC its the best player for this device.
And i have a android app from my ISP that give me live tv channels and no problem, so i dont know.
Im going to check the kernel again to see if i can improve anything.

                Regards

well i managed to boot whit DDR OC to 533mhz
Testing stability, if its good i make a 1080p/720p kernel.

                  Regards

                  EDIT:

                  Before and after DDR OC

I would like to test it, too.

If you have a time, there is a file in system/bin called something I cannot remember, where you can type exact refresh rates. For instance, 1090x1080x60 should have 59.94 and it is possible to play around up and down to make video plays smoothly than it is now.

With 4.2.2 version it was very good, when you watch info bar and scrolling letter in CNN or NBC channels.

Kitakt has some vsync fix but the video is not so smooth. In XBMC there is RSS feed down there, the letters are not moving as it should be.

                    I will try SPMC.

You are doing great job so far, for us with MTK V5 devices.

well this is the best i could do, Dzigi.Bau i know what you mean by the moving letters on news channels but i cant fix the refresh rate problem.
But i did manage to squeeze a bit more juice of the device.
                            1080p 23xxx antuntu, 720p 25xxx antuntu.

Thank you very much for your efforts. The only thing here is that you did not post your newest kernel.

For refresh rate, I played with that in 4.2 android with some success in hdmi driver but in KitKat lot of things are different. Whatever I tried, it was forgotten after reboot. It is important thing, for those who can play wiht that for real. If you see that in XBMC you will see that their driver has some more fps which make videos smoother.

Ups sorry lol, here you have it.

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

                                Enjoy it.
