You will need to know your device's number to put. With devices with 2 SIM slots you will need both numbers.

If you don't have the numbers, you will need to generate new one(s). Here is an online tool for getting new numbers:

Once you generate a new file. Just place this file in this folder on your device: /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/

Be sure to give this file full permissions RWX (777).

With version Riley's 1.1 it is working fine
The same thing happens with stock rom too (kitkat).

Furthermore it doesn't matter which recovery file I select (CWM or Stock), I always
get the stock one when trying to start it.

Btw great job mate! I really like your roms!!!

PS IMEI gets lost indeed. It doesn't recover even with a restoration of stock firmware
so do back it up before upgrading.

Coming back to my previews post I think the problem lies with the rooting method used.
I rerooted the tablet using RootGenius and now Lucky Patcher works fine.
Maybe just installing supersu is not enough?

My rooting technique involves much more than simply adding supersu. For KK ROMs you have to add lines to the init.rc in boot.img. su has to be run as daemon.

I'm not familiar with LuckyPatcher. Does it run init.d scripts?

I was happy when it worked I'm now wondering what will happen if i now inject my old backup imei in using mobileuncle? Time for an experiment I think I'm sure one of these days I'll brick one of my tablets

                  Problems... Win. 7 and 8.1

I've tried this install on two computers. One with windows 7 and the other with 8.1

I can get as far as turning off the t9 and plugging it in to the computer.

                  When I do, nothing happens.
The tablet screen turns on, it flashes quickly with an image of the battery (90%+ charged).

Then I sit there waiting while nothing happens.
After 10+/- minutes, I hit stop because the download hasn't gone anywhere.
I never get any confirmation that the tablet is connected.

                  What drivers are you using?

Windows shows me "YunOS Phone" with "YunOS ACB Interface" driver installed.
Also, under "Portable Devices" I have "T9" installed.

When connected via usb, if I power down the T9, I get a quick "Other devices" -> "MT65xx Preloader"
If I hit it, before it disappears, I can manually install drivers from the "android_winusb.inf" file.
I am given three (3) options: none are digitally signed
                  -Android ADB Interface
                  -Android Bootloader Interface
                  -Android Composite ADB Interface

                  Any ideas?
What drivers show up for those of you that are able to install...

Look in the ROM kit. There is a PDAnet app that will install the drivers for you, or the drivers are there to install manually.

                        Installed it, no problems. Worked.
                        Turned off T9.
PDANet (in the taskbar now says "Not Connected")
                        Should I close it?

Smart phone flash tool still not doing anything.
                        On Windows 8.1.

Yes you can close the app. You won't need it anymore.

With the PDAnet app closed, the flash tool should work.

                                Killed PDAnet.
                                Powered off the tablet.
Got a quick charging screen, then it flashed to the blue battery.
                                Then the screen goes off.
                                Nothing happens...
If I tap the power button, I can see the big blue battery icon [fully-ish charged].

Nothing happening with "Smart Phone Flash Tool"
                                Still have not hit "Stop".
